Built To Last: How We Test Every PØLR Product Before It Reaches You

When we started PØLR, we made one promise to ourselves long before anyone bought anything from us. If we are going to put our name on something, it has to last. No shortcuts. No cheap materials. No flimsy prints that crack or peel after a few washes. If it does not meet our standards, it does not ship.

That mindset comes from where we grew up. When you live in the North, gear either works or it doesn’t. Cold, wind, rain, long days, fast mornings. Life does not care about weak materials. Your clothing has to keep up. That philosophy carried straight into our brand.

People talk a lot about quality, but it is one of those words that does not mean anything unless you actually prove it. So instead of just saying PØLR is durable, we decided to build a testing process that makes sure it is.

The first thing we look at is fabric strength. Every hoodie, tee, and accessory goes through stretch tests, pull tests, and wash cycles before we even think about sending it to the manufacturer for sampling. We want to know how the fabric behaves when it is worn daily, trained in, sweated in, washed constantly, thrown into gym bags, and forgotten in back seats. That is real life. Clothing needs to survive lifestyle, not just photoshoots.

After fabric testing, we focus on graphics because print durability is one of the biggest problems in streetwear and fitness gear. You buy something cool, wash it twice, and suddenly the logo looks like it has seen a few too many winters. We refuse to let that happen. We test screen prints, puff prints, high density prints, embroidery, patches, heat press vinyl, and new methods our manufacturers recommend. If it does not survive the tests, we start again.

We also test stitching because small details matter. Seam strength, thread tightness, how collars hold their shape over time, how hems react when stretched. You would be surprised how many big brands skip this part. We don’t. Clothing should hold up season after season, and we want you to feel confident throwing on a PØLR tee without wondering how long it will last.

Another thing we do is field testing. Before we approve any design, we wear it. Hard. At the gym. At work. Outside in the cold. On long days where the clothing does not get a break. We give samples to friends and people who live active lives and ask them to beat the product up. We want the honest truth. If someone says the stitching feels off or the fabric pills, we fix it.

It takes longer to do things this way. It costs more too. But people deserve gear they can trust. When someone buys something from us, we want them to feel like it was worth every dollar. Not just because it looks good, but because it feels good and performs even better.

Durability is part of our identity. It connects to mental health, strength, resilience, and the northern mindset. We believe that strong clothing reflects strong people. It reminds you that you can get through tough days, that progress takes time, and that things built with care last longer.

That is why we test everything with intention. We know people work hard for their money. We know clothing can be more than fabric. It can be a reminder to keep going. To stay disciplined. To stay grounded. To stay PØLR.

Our goal is simple. When you put on a PØLR hoodie or tee, it should feel like something you actually want to wear every day. Something reliable. Something that matches your lifestyle and your mindset.

This brand will keep evolving, and our testing process will evolve with it. As we grow, improve, and expand into new gear, our focus stays the same. Build it strong. Build it honestly. Build it so people can depend on it.

Durability is not just part of our business. It is part of who we are.

PØLR. Built to endure.
